really good advice
how long did it take to do the certification?
i mean i just propose ideas and she decides if she wants to pursue
lol my brain goofed for a second
it was 8 weeks
i wasn't there every day so it was spaced out
lots of programs are 6 weeks
shes got the degree and is pretty skilled yes
I'm not asking about if she has a degree or not. I was asking if she's already an artist or just loves art. Obviously she has to be somewhat skilled if she has an art degree but "skills" doesn't really matter as an artist. You'd be surprised at how often 4,5,6-figure art pieces sell by talentless artists.
But there's an entrepreneur route your shorty can take or the artist route, which is a way longer road (getting repetitions in, getting noticed, getting an representative, etc, etc)
Start a niche twitter furry p*** account with commissions open
I will keep it short but my girl has an art degree and is working minimum wage at a restaurant
What are some good jobs she can look into to help pay the bills? Trades, warehouse, truck drivers, construction are things that i can think of but these are not women friendly fields.
She could go back to college for a technical degree but that will drain more of our money.
Im doing most of the heavy lifting but i think i need a break now.
If she can do actual art:
Etsy
Amazon
Youtube
Tiktok
Personal website
Teacher/Professor
Commissions
Art contracts for ads/companies
If she is a scholar of art:
Tracher/Professor
Consultant
Museum director
Art a***yzer
Youtube
Tiktok
There you go
A lot of it is personal or grind heavy tho, there only a few "real jobs" that works and most of it involves being a scholar of sorts
Sounds like she wasted her time and money. You better get a second job if you plan on staying with her longterm buddy
who the hell will buy art for $800
it would take years to even build up the following to even consider doing that
theres unironically a huge market for fetish art artist
like u can make crazy money drawing furry p*** for ppl

More people than you think. I was talking to a girl and she was selling paintings for $300 at a local art fair we have each month in town. The art fair is called First Fridays and a lot of towns actually have them. If you live in a art city there's money to be made if you can find community.
You blew it wifing a chick with an art degree. She should be a server at a nice restaurant tbh
She could do those “wine & design” type classes at night
lol I did one of these if the paint ones count
probably a really good way to make bank, that wine was so overpriced
