-called out pop culture s*** like boy bands and singers and spice girls and OJ simpsons and whatnot.
-music videos were on point (TRL era)
-gave no f***s and said vial s*** and also came back with a hammer at anyone who spoke ill of him

all these things played into Eminem Mania. people talking about was it cuz he's white or was it cuz he's talented - it was both (obviously)
