When I saw what they did to my peoples as slaves when I was like 5 or 6 it’s been f*** this country . Family had me watch them slave documentaries as a little jit to let me know this country is public enemy number 1.
S*** f***ing scarred me but at the same time it woke me up on a very deep level. Almost like I was connected to my ancestors or some s***
Never because its not a fascist country by any definition...
Imperialist for sure but thats how most superpowers operate
around 20 years old once i started actually learning the about the country outside of whats fed to you in public schools
Like 16. I had a civics teacher who the principal really hated, he knew he was on his way out so he said f*** it and taught parts of American history the standard curriculum never would
I actually think calling the US a fascist country in this context is harmful. Liberalism is really bad and has probably done more damage on a global level than fascism has, because it's lasted longer and is a more stable system than fascism.
Anatomically, the US shares a lot in common with fascism, and I'd say we are now explicitly seeing overtly fascistic statecraft strategies being publicly endorsed and executed by top-level government officials. But fascism is just capitalism, and to an extent nationalism, in crisis. All the raw materials for fascism are provided by liberalism. Fascism just sharpens the blade.
