Way more than GNX...Drake has 108 billion (with the B) Spotify streams. His average fw is 400K, plus all the attention is on him rn and everyone’s waiting for his big comeback. 400-500K minimum, imo. The 108 billion streams tell you everything. No excuses.

    I got 320 -350 I just gotta see

  • a lot

Probably not going to get some massive UMG promotion / Spotify push and it’ll likely be a shorter, more R&B-focused album. It won’t sell crazy numbers, and there will be a thousand haters who will use that energy to propel their existential misery through the rest of 2025

I’d typically agree with this but being realistic Honestly Nevermind did 200k, surprise dancehall album, there is no way on earth he is going below that. Post beef and a decent level of anticipation, I think he does 250 bare minimum

Why does he need a push? I thought he was suing because they gave push to another artist and pushing artists is illegal
Glad to see that the copium already commenced

No you’re still allowed to market, payola is illegal though and it’s also illegal to promote defamatory content, especially via payola. Hope this helps

Just being realistic. PND4 sold 37k. FATD was primarily R&B and saw a pretty big dip second week. As much as people like quoting that they “like Drake with the melodies”, the numbers say they actually like him more when he talks tough

  • 165k-175K

Sales in general are in decline and even his flagship albums are down to doing around 400K first week.

A good barometer here would be like, HNVM and if that did 204K first week, this will almost assuredly come in under that.

FATD did the numbers it did mostly because of the climate. No one's doing numbers like that anymore for Rap.

    Max 250k

  • Feb 5, 2025

Their will be a ton of threads claiming Drakes downfall no matter what

I think Drake fans are going to be in for a rude awakening sales wise from here on out.

    1) It's 2025. Sales are a horrid barometer to measure...well, anything. It means nothing unless you're swift and Drake is not swift. Weeknd did under 400K first week and Drake will for sure do under that on his next solo flagship LP. It's an archaic way to measure 'hot' and relevancy.

    2) Drake out of his commercial prime and unless he actually tries to be an actual artist within the infrastructure and lean into his skillset, you will continue to see his singles and first week album sales trend down.

    S*** like 3 or 4. Maybe 8.
