sipsomehe's never gonna be able to replicate the sound and feeling of trilogy. he is a worldwide full blown pop star phenomena now. he can't recreate the mystery and amusement that came along with not knowing basically anything about him. i definitely don't think any of his post trilogy projects are as good, but they all have things I like about them.

actually like kiss land overall, no complaints about that one
bbtm is the worst of them i feel, there are a lot songs I didn't vibe with whatsoever on it, I feel like Abel was pressing
but with starboy, I feel like he figured out how to make entertaining pop songs that fit in with who he is as an artist. I actually enjoy most of the really poppy songs on that album.

Kiss Land is ambitious and has some Trilogy tier charm and creativity to it
BBTM is a cute pop album with some bops
Starboy is always fun to play, catchy, has a nice 80s pop vibe to it and some of his best songs
MDM is a moody but catchy EP, can't imagine being a Weeknd fan and not liking it because all the songs are great
