For context: The real top 5 of this generation is Drake, Cole, Nicki, Future, and Thug.

Damn near any young artist in hip-hop right now is influenced by at least one of them. They all have brilliant and timeless records and songs. Plus, they release music frequently and stay engaged.

Kendrick’s holier-than-thou, “I don’t use a phone for months at a time” act is not only pretentious but shields his laziness with faux wisdom. Go home Kendrick

Nigga dropped 7am and Lemmon Pepper this year with no one else on the pen and we sitting here talking about non existent ghosterwriters come on man champagne gets busy with the raps

    I agree, but still...

Look the 2010's made it a thing. Before that we expected artist to have a hook written for them, or a song idea laid out. We still expected the artist to take it from there though. Verse collaboration's is a 2010's phenomenon. Drake was birthed into that atmosphere.

Still, we know Drake can rap his ass off.

I ain't keeping up with Alicia Keys in 2021 b. As for Jay Z? That nigga was tryna shade Michael Jackson recently I ain't tryna hear what he gotta say for a lil bit.

my point is that people generally refer to him as a goat, it’s not like he’s some underground nigga he’s mainstream as hell

All these Kendrick hate threads really lowkey be Drake stan threads

@op mad at Kendrick because the legacy of his classic albums standing the test of time while every Drake release gets lukewarm reception at best

It ain’t Kendrick fault @op lol

Drake could’ve been took the classic album goat slot from him if he wanted it but he prefers to create safe mediocrity for the masses.

We all know Drake got the talent and the consistency and the hits etc but he has yet to execute a masterpiece album worthy of the type of acclaim that Kendrick and Kanye get. He can drop 2 mixtapes and 4 albums in 1 year and it still won’t matter if he doesn’t raise the bar.

bro practically almost every Drake album is more listened than any Kendrick album except GKMC

  • Please Kendrick drop some mid and put these ppll out their misery.
