The Tyler hate and Isaiah Rashad hate were but stepping stones in KTT getting to who they always really wanted to hate on. Kendrick Lamar.
I found KTT in 2013 by googling "Kendrick Lamar is overrated"
Sade
Lauryn Hill
D Angelo
Andre 3k
Kendrick Lamar
Frank Ocean
This is the list of artists that are banned from GOAT convos for lack of work ethic guys. Am I missing anyone?
It does matter it's all apart of the process
Eh, not really. All that matters is what you put out into the world.

all trash too that's crazy lol
What exactly is critic bait about To Pimp A Butterfly. Quickly now.
the uncomfortable truth is Kendrick releasing an album deeply centered around race relations during a time of peak racial tension for the first time in social media era, with a backdrop of black music from funk to jazz to contemporary hip hop, is literally bulletproof to music criticism from "white" publications (Rolling stone/p4k/etc etc), you couldnt give it a bad review upon release,
it's exactly what the journalists said in their retrospective one year later

Now was that thread made by a Drake stan?
all trash too that's crazy lol
Wish they worked harder to drop better music.
Lazy ass artist.

Okay if that's how you look at it what can I do to change that

fr most critics are WHITE it ain't hard to understand lol
As a non-Drake stan, Views is trash/mid. More Life is actually pretty alright.
More Life just really feels decent in retrospect because it dropped between two projects that are completely dookie. Compared to stuff like NWTS it’s still not that good overall. But yeah, not the worst Drake album by far
OP is a lunatic for even talking about Eminem in a Kendrick thread,
But yes Kendrick is the undisputed goat of Cali. Notice how he's only compared to kings from other zones
And truthfully he's probably had the best albums or best album between him, Ye, and Drake over the last few years

So...a Black man making Black music is critic bait now?
How isn't Drake consistent? All his s*** ages well. People who hated WATTBA/Views/More Life mostly love those projects now. DLDT received hate upon release but folks are already appreciating it now. Same with CLB. Every thing he drops doesn't need to be an instant classic. It just has to age well enough and that's most of Drake's music throughout his career.
Obviously, Eminem is washed now and is a shell of who he once was but my point was that he's still remaining active and feeding his fanbase.
Every thing he drops doesn't need to be an instant classic. You only say this because drake fails to reach the standard he set years ago when he was most focused on crafting cohesive bodies of work. That em argument is pointless because the idea of “feeding the fans” is what’s eating his legacy alive. Great art lasts for generations so I don’t get when folks say Kendrick, frank, d’Angelo etc are depriving fans when their last project can be considered some of the best in their career or respective genres.
Jay z better hurry up drop
He might get removed from the goat spot for lack of work ethic
Okay if that's how you look at it what can I do to change that
Nothing tbh lol. I only care about art that I can actually engage with, not art that maybe gets made but isn't released.
