My community hasn’t seemed to be affected either, although I thought it would. I live in a sanctuary city that is home to one of the biggest refugee communities in the US

Everyone is carrying on as normal, and I haven’t heard anything about their families being deported (however I’m in the north, so refugees by me are from Somalia, Burma, etc)

I think I do remember them talking about it being harder to get into the US, however I can’t say confidently if they’ve been affected
