Almost guarantee you your entire view would be shook up if you actually worked in a restaurant serving for a day. It's not as easy as it looks. They have to deal with people like you.
I go in, eat my food, pay for it then leave. people like me? again, ask your employer!
I think the restaurant should pay the workers properly and we should do away with tips like in almost every other country
You don’t like capitalism but support tipping???
I don’t like the system that forces people to tip. Keep up.
What do you do for work @pradaboy ?
I am an aerospace engineer for a major airline
I go in, eat my food, pay for it then leave. people like me? again, ask your employer!
lock
I don’t like the system that forces people to tip. Keep up.
The system doesn’t force anybody to do anything which is the beauty of it
I highly doubt it
Can say from experience it can,
Dad worked two jobs as an immigrant to afford to buy property.
When he bought the property one of his boss asked how he could afford it based on his wages. (Guy was fairly racist, wasn't any of his business)
My dad asked the dude what he had for dinner last night.
Guy said he went out to dinner with his girl.
My dad asked how much it cost, (insert some expensive dinner in new York at the time).
My dad then replied he had eaten rice and potatoes essentially for dinner every night more or less for months.
S*** cost like 1$ a night.
The point of it was, it's not about how much you make it's to a degree how much you can save in proportion to how much you make.
You don’t like capitalism but support tipping???
"you don't like capitalism but you work a 9 to 5" nigga stfu
Yes the pay sucks and the boss is to blame blah blah blah
But have some compassion and tip $10 to Cindy who brought the Cheeseburger.
I usually tip very well but I have more than enough money so it is what it is.
I understand not wanting to tip if you don’t have a lot of money but I also feel like you should probably avoid costly services that expect tips. Don’t get a $250 meal if you can’t tip at least 20%.
I also think tips should be service based but I usually always tip unless service was awful. If service was good I often go beyond 20%.
The system doesn’t force anybody to do anything which is the beauty of it
And what do you do for a living that allows you to make such a privileged post such as this?
Dont like it but I'll do it.. yall not tipping until companies get a robot to come and serve you the wrong meal
Capitalism is great
I don’t like the system that forces people to tip. Keep up.
He doesn't like that the system allows for employers to underpay their staff and make them rely on tips to live a quality life.
He doesn't mind tipping the people who need it.
but what y’all gaining from not tipping? 😭😭😭
i like tipping especially if they see how much u givin then 🤣🤣

I agree somewhat, unless you going crazy everyday spending $100 on dinners everyday i get it, but $20 once in a while isn’t going to do much in the long run
Embarrassingly cheap b******s ITT.
If you can't afford to tip don't go out to eat, there's nothing more to it than that.
