Occasionally Jordans (i do wear them but seeing me in J’s is a rare sight).Last time i wore J’s was in the summer of 2019
So yes, i do wear very basic brands. Its not like im out here being a complete hipster

I mostly wear ”classic” shoes. I would add timbs to that list aswell (im from NY i wear them in the winter) . Vans, AF’s etc. Are ”overplayed” for different reasons though.
As a black man i dont feel comfortable with seeing 13yr c***hypebeasts wearing Jordans. Maybe its just me but that legit disgusts me and nowadays i see that all the time.
Im usually the type of person who doesn’t let what other people do bother me or sway my opinion but growing up J’s were close to heart (any black kid can vouch for this). Just seeing them being violated by c***Hypebeasts and these brands constantly f***ing them up with weak collabs and colour palettes disgusts me.

Vans and Af1's are just as worn by hypebeasts if not moreso than Jordans, especially younger ones. They also have more than their fair share of weak collabs and colorways so I dont really understand why you are especially bothered by Jordans yet continue to rock these other basic shoes.

Im bothered with J’s because i grew up on them. Vans and AF’s being ruined by weak collabs dont matter to me. Vans & AF’s have always been very universal shoes that are supposed to be for everybody and looks good on anybody.

Bruh I've been a fan of basketball all my life, I love Jordans because they allow me to have a slight basketball influence within my outfits. By this same logic you should be turned off to AF1s since they went from being a hip-hop staple to a white girl shoe.
