HNDRXXI don't get the hype about Yandhi. Like there's plenty of good songs, but I've seen people say that it would have been one of Kanye's best albums... nah. It wouldn't reach top 5.

What’s really “not needed” though
I don’t think that direction makes it a paradigm shifting album in music
I think that direction is vital to the album working as well as it does in a vacuum though
Like if he just made a regular rap album s*** would have cranked, but everything about that album is just off to me, like I just can't get into it
I liked a couple tracks but nah s*** just too weird for my liking
