Because drill rap still sells.
We not talking bout your personal viewpoint. Rappers that aint even from that culture say tooka. Even Young MA was saying that s*** (she apologized though)
Meanwhile outwardly homosexual rappers cant even get they foot in the door. So fashion killa is still right
I think it’s more phony yall bring up that s*** in hip hop only when it’s to step on another issue in hip hop that someone brings up. That’s just me tho.
To be fair, Chicago drill died years ago. Duck and Von were the last two really holding strong. I mean he made it personal as well. And that’s why I’m against it because outsiders think these dudes are talking about weed but they’re really mentioning dead teenagers and it never sat right with me. As far as dissing dead kids, people on here have been vocal, it’s just nobody care because it’s “hip hop” and they’re “living their raps”. So I understand where dude response come from
both are a problem but with how people react to one issue, I can’t even fault people for feeling a way.
imagine saying stupid s*** like this and still have a career
only possible in hip hop (unfortunately)
If you think about it, wouldnt the most alpha thing one could do as a man is dominate another man?
Since we talking bout hypermasculinity and s***

I think New York just took the mantle.
Dude out here throwing out the bottom bat signal.

Nothing more masculine than taking a nigga's cheeks.

Can't listen now, but a lot of people don't want a gay son. It's normal.
Once you have him/her you will have to go through it though. Absent parents suck.
Whats crazy is that some of these modern straight rappers looking gayer than Lil Nas X just to sell more albums.

Lmao
Lmao
You think people want a gay son? lol
You will obviously have to addapt since it's not the usual. And kicking the kid out of your life because of it is f***ed up.

I think the "normal" thing would be to not care about it at all.
Saying it's normal to not want a gay son is weird. Just like it would be weird to specifically WANT a a gay son.

I think if you make an anonymous poll, most people will say they don't want it. Just won't say it publicly.

It isn't the norm... So yea, most people envision having kids that marry/date the opposite s***and have kids with someone of the opposite sex. That's the reality of it.

Yeah that's definitely true sadly

No you wont if you just treat him like you would any other son.
Niggas being extra with it like you saying “it’s normal” are the reason these kids end up ending it before they prime.

It's obviously different. You will have to addapt to the situation.

Adapt how?
“Dad im gay”
“Ok son.”
....
Looks normal to me
Hip Hop isn't the Democratic National Convention bro
it's a genre dominated by black straight men from the streets; no one cares about the sensitivities of gay people, women, non-black people, or any other demographic that has attached themselves to the culture
Just like you wouldn't go to an NHL game and expect the crowd to cater to the sensitivities of black people -- it's mostly straight white guys, and they really don't care about your unique experiences or what offends you. You either grow thicker skin or just keep it pushing
"no one cares about the sensitivites of gay people, women, non-black people, or any other demographic that buys most of our albums"
"grow thicker skin and just accept we'll never respect women or gay people"

people are stupid, that's not news. what not normal is to force your child "right" sexuality. the kid should choose by himself and only. idk even why this needed to be explained here
If you think common decency and respect is a white people thing, that says a looooot about your mental image of yourself and people like you.
