A really unfortunate situation all around, I guess. I’m sure the Marine had solid intentions and yeah..after you got someone like that, there’s gonna be hesitancy to let go as you don’t know how the victim’s gonna react. But you can’t just kill a human being who never actually did anything wrong smh. He should have known better.

On top of that he jumped the gun on getting physical in the first place. Mentally ill folk have outbursts on busses and subways every day. If he didn’t swing on anyone or threaten to pull out a weapon, don’t touch him

There's no justification in choking the person to death. If you are just looking to incapacitate them, then a chokehold lasting for 15mins is doing way too much.
