Steam reviews have apparently dipped, seems like people think the game is just too hard.

Curious if the reviews will reflect a similar sentiment.

Ngl, i hate to be that guy. But i’m starting to think these are “get good” tier complaints. Don’t get me wrong. Its very difficult. But i havent come yet to come across a boss that i though “man…. I dont know how im ever going to beat this guy”

There have been some ive seen ppl complain about online. When i ran them myself i was legit like
“Really…… THATs the boss everyone is crying about?”. Like again, they were legit hard af. I got stuck on some of them for a while. But the way ppl were complaining i thought they were “pull my hair out” hard lol

This is truly the better version of Hollow Knight I’ve been dreaming of all these years.

First try I got to final phase before copping the L smh. Second try barely hit phase 2 and I quit to go explore sinners road I missed and other s***

That’s what’s getting me. Some of these posts are legit like talking about quitting the game or having to step away for hours because it was so frustrating like what is going on in this game

No way it’s that bad. Feels like people had more fun playing cuphead when it first dropped. Silksong just got folks straight up defeated lmao

facts, all the hardest bosses so far have super reasonable telegraphs and tons of openings

People just suck

None of these bosses / run backs have been all that difficult

Most retries have been like 5-6 for last judge

I am pretty stubborn when gaming and will try again and again for an hour but thats my choice and im not gonna act like its a fault of the game, especially when theres so much to explore and you can just do that and come back to whats making you struggle later and youll maybe have found some new tools that will help

Some of.the run backs can get a little irritating but when you look around a bit theres always some alternative route u can take so its cool

That’s a little bad faith, bosses and mini bosses are definitely harder, especially mid game compared to HK. They take more hits, spawn more enemies, have more arena attacks. Not a reason to knock the score down though, people should know what they’re getting into at this point.

Ngl I’m having a much easier time with Silksong than I did with HK
