Agreed. All the parties is fire and Amen is decent but the rest is not that good. To be fair though, we got a lot of music from him this year with a good amount of diversity and I think he didnt want to be repetitive, so gave us something a little different. It didn't hit like the others but he tried. That's my take at least, who really knows.

Drew a Picasso, Virginia Beach, Slime You Out, Fear of Heights, and Polar Opposites are all great songs. Song for song, i think the top songs are better than CLB. But it doesn't flow nearly as well CLB or his other albums the past 6-7 years.

Like the album really peaks with the energy of the first seven songs and then doesn't pick up, as much as I love some of the second half songs.

I feel like he found his voice with Her Loss and FATD (some of his best rapping and singing performances imo), but he didn't have anything substantial or original to build the album around.

I mean 5 or those 6 songs are not what the usual drake fan goes to drake for. The sh3 part wasn’t rly for his fans that was more for the critics. I’m not a huge fan of rapping drake on alchemist beats and don’t think many fans are either, it’s fun once in a while but not back to back to back.

All he needs to do is drop a 16-18 track IFYTITL type of album and everyone will shut up but it seems the time has passed

5 great songs and a bunch of decent songs that you forget about, sounds like every drake album the last 5 years

Yeah it’s incredibly boring. Virginia Beach and 8AM in Charlotte are the only tracks that stood out to me, and I listened to the album front to back multiple times, played the songs on headphones, car speakers etc. just could never get it to click. You Broke My Heart is great too, but that’s a deluxe track so I don’t really count that when talking about standard FATD.

Same! This is probably one of my favorite albums on initial release, but it’s just not clicking for me much months later like his other albums did.

Most of his albums don’t click for me that great at first but about 2-3 months later I can’t stop listening to it. This one was the complete opposite. Great on first few listens but not holding up months later.
