I agree. The reason Magic is so good is because of how focused Nas is on the project. The production wasn’t game changing or anything, but it was a perfect backdrop for Nas. That’s all I want from this potential album. Wayne spitting his ass off with polished, precise production throughout an entire album. Which like you said, is what we don’t get often from Wayne regarding production lately.
Thank you lol
Been listening to him forever so I understand where the energy comes from. He’s been around so long and he’s one of the most versatile rappers ever. I think a lot of his fans want that variety and feel like Hit might not be the man for the job. I don’t think that’s true
As a longtime fan I just want an album from him you can run top bottom. Throw in some melodic s*** but mainly just some good songs that I don’t have to skip lol at this point he’s proven he can do everything else. Wayne would sound good over a beat like Goldie and Cold. He could do some boom bap s*** like Magic/KD. Some trap s*** like his work with Travis. Hit Boy can deliver regardless of the style
Wayne in my top 5 but when it comes to albums it’s always a chore to play the whole thing. Even C2 and C3 got moments that kinda drag. One thing I can say is that he aimed high. He tried to do some creative s*** throughout his career. In the end it was def worth it. I just want one well put together album from him lol
Thank you lol

C3 I agree with but C2
If anything it may drag because of the length but the music itself is consistent imo

Yea it’s pretty solid
Personally I was never the biggest fan of all the production on there lol it’s not bad though. Even when I was a kid I never really played the whole thing just picked my favorites
He was stepping into his fake Hov/NY bag but I was such a Hov fan that a lot of those C2 beats sounded like cheap Blueprint s*** to me lol didn’t fully realize it at the time

Wayne should do it. He’s already given us multiple projects where he’s rapping over different production. Let’s get one where he’s locked in with a single producer
detroit 2 >>>> the hitboy sean album
Detroit 2 was produced by hit boy
Thank you lol

You want these dusty ass beats.
This could work if
Kept short (7 to 10 tracks)
No or very little autotune on Wayne's vocals
Some sort of concept or theme
Features for hooks only
No autotune? Yea you can f*** with that dust ball s***.

Enjoy your ear rape weirdo
Do you think hitboy could match this range 🤔

Wayne is 39 and Drake is 35.
Exactly
He can’t carry an entire tryna sound like new niggas anymore. I’m not saying he can’t incorporate it but it’s clear it works better in doses for him
If it sounded good then I wouldn’t be complaining 🤷🏾♂️
to the people who don't like this idea itt
Who would be better for a whole album? I'm not leaning one way or the other just curious who you think would be that guy for Wayne
