People are also exaggerating hip hop's fall off this year.

Speaking of which, The Fall Off was still top 10 on Billboard after a whole month of its release. Don Toliver still selling like crazy. Bully is still top 20 on Billboard a month after its release. Casino has gotten lots of hype albeit in a less mainstream way. DBB was so dope, it has niggas looking forward to Disc 2. There's tons of hype for Isaiah and Vince's projects.

And that's not even touching on the underground/indie stuff. Or the stuff put out by the OG's.

I agree that hip hop has lacked club bangers and radio jams for the top 40 but some Drake fans been acting like none of the rap albums this year have any fandom or that every album slipped to the abyss after 2 weeks lol.

Niggas been exaggerating it every year lol Hip hop could never die if niggas actually support artists they like

Quiet as kept, Vince Staples dropped a better double album than Kendrick, Drake, and Cole.

And that s*** was his debut.

I personally doubt Drake could drop a better album than The Fall Off this year.

I just don't see him having the bars, substance, or even the musicality. Mind you, I only rank TFO as a 7.5 album.

But I get it...Cole didn't do club bangers so niggas will say that it "came and went" even if the actual stats say otherwise. Vibes...

  • Ye could've saved hip hop if he put 3 more verses on Bully and no AI slop
