“My favorite use of AI in music” is an oxymoron champ

There’s creative ways to use it and morally bankrupt ways to use it. Drake did it in a creative way and carti and kanye used it in s***ty ways

Maybe the issue is that we're expecting legacy acts to innovate an entire genre that's chNged so much lol

It's f***ing lovely when they do!! But most of them put the work in already and are successful and easy living

doesn't mean they can't make good art still not at all but it's just what it is

It’s all s***ty slop, I didn’t even know Drake had a real verse on the song because I couldn’t sit through the AI filter

It’s a damn shame anybody is okay with that

Many of these rappers never actually gave a f*** about rap and use it as a vehicle for material success, especially post shiny-suit era

This has always been the state of rap, it’s just reached a logical conclusion

Yeah true, and it’s not to say the more underground/less mainstream acts aren’t dropping heat either. It just sucks to see from the rappers that a lot of people think of as representative of the genre

Where the other artists from these other genres that compare to the stars always required from hiphop? why can hiphop consistently produce and did produce a new crop of artists that charted highly in the 2020s and that be harshly judged compared to other genres who didn’t do the same?

Bad Bunny? Sabrina Carpenter? Morgan Wallen? Zach Bryan? Olivia Rodrigo? Noah Kahan?

The biggest song of 2026 is by a new Country singer (Ella Langley)

The 2020s have produced no new rap stars as popular as any of these artists

But see what I mean by framing? Lol

Morgan Wallen debuted in 2018, so you gotta name him next to Gunna, Lil Baby and them who we all know what Lil Baby did in the 2020s with My Turn

Sabrina Carpenter was on album 4 by the time Carti dropped WLR who’s only 3 years older. if you want an age mate, then Yak was Painting Pictures and having his run while Sabrina was doing god knows what. by the time she blew up he already had all his hits plus Super Gremlin and is only a year and a half older.

Zack Bryan? Bet ima use Jack Harlow, Doja and Rod who debuted the same year as him. By the time Zack finally broke through on ALBUM 5, Jack Harlow already had 3 #1 songs, Doja had her massive run and Rod Wave was sitting on 3 #1 albums. each with their own arena tours for their biggest albums.

Noah Kahan? lmaooooo ight bruh. again more framing. dude on album number 3 on a major record label but gets to be best new artist, got it

I’ll give you Bad Bunny. now he’s a 1 of 1. And Olivia slow burning and smart with her s*** like Billie

but none of what them rap niggas did in their runs matters I guess cause these few artist are big now yet still aren’t leading to a significant shift in their genres? got it

Using it for impersonating and taunting someone in a diss track is fine imo and drake accomplished what he set out to

This year has been nowhere as dire as 2023 was at this point

This time in 2023 we only really had Pink Tape and Love Sick for rap albums, Utopia was on the horizon but still a few weeks away

Taylor made freestyle was amazing and my favorite use of AI in music. Kendrick told the pac estate to sue drake he was so offended

Yeah I’m not mad at niggas dubbing their voice for creative effect at all

Niggas gotta stop with these all or nothing mentalities lol

Prime Eminem and kanye would have went crazy with the voice dubbing lol

Pac himself probably would have got involved in that, nigga would have had puffy and dre talking with a lisp on an interlude

Check the date this is the type of basketball takes i have im not the casual

Wanting to see the same teams in the NBA Finals for 3-4 years straight is definitely some casual s*** fam. Like that's the kinda thing that people who don't really keep up with the sport want because it doesn't require them to actually learn about other players, teams, etc. Making it easier to consume for someone who keeps up with the NBA...casually.

I don't know what to tell you lmao

Hearing AI filters in general makes me not want to sit through a song, the context of the beef means nothing, I just don’t like how AI filters sound

If the goal was to get me to turn the song off because of the AI filters, mission accomplished I suppose

I’m sure Kanye’s goal was for me to cancel my vinyl once I realized that version of BULLY would be full of AI

"If everybody has a chance to win then parity is bad!"

Still gotta be the most rehtarded and non basketball fan/casual take I've ever seen lmao

If everybody has a chance to win a championship, then that literally makes it harder for a team to win one.

if that’s the case why is Lakers Disney ring got and asterisk if everyone was well rested and there was no pressure of fans watching?

I keep up with the sport enough to recognize that a second round pick was going to be an all star before the draft even happened im as not casual as it is i just recognize what’s good for the sport in general
