my thing is, if a team is on top for a long time knocking everybody off then overcoming them is a huge achievement. like giannis and jokic winning was amazing but the raptors winning was that much crazier that it was the end of the warriors dynasty. lebron vs the spurs was that crazy because it was the king vs the guy that kinda ran the 2000s. when these names get built up for a long time it makes beating them that much bigger and the stakes way higher
