Tbh, I'm not tryna hear an R&B album from Kendrick. Unless he can do Luther 22 times he can keep it
no one’s tryna hear an R&B album from any rapper
i think more than anything drakes not allowed to take risks since the context of making a drake album requires a certain amount of return and taking risks easily back fires
There’s no one who set that rule and its just not true after Views really after IYRTITL he could have done anything he want as long as he had 2-3 logical singles lol
not true at all. do you practice singing? Respectfully cause if you don’t, then you can’t really say what one can do with enough practice
you doubt Kendrick the same way you hate people doubting Drake. my homie isn’t a singer and we have plenty R&B songs cause he challenged himself and practiced. I’ve done this for like 3 homies now who were scared they couldn’t sing. All you have to do is the thousands of vocal practices out their to improve your vocal fold and just find out which vocal range you are in and practice with your favorite songs in that vocal range as further practice
you armchair niggas stink lmfao
It's not about just being able to sing. It's about how good of a level you can reach. Kendrick won't be able to reach a level where he is capable of dropping fantastic R&B music. That's not a slight on him, this applies to many artists.
when you work by yourself you just fall into habits and not realize it
this is also facts. i call out my group for not trying hard enough
we have had a lot of paragraphs and growth lmfaoo
no one’s tryna hear an R&B album from any rapper
I'd disagree
I'd take R&B from Drake, Future, Cole, Tyler, Smino, Snoop, Mac, and that's just off the top
He don’t like Kendrick r&b music because he aint got no soul in his stroke
Lmaoo thats funk lineage not toronto sadboy moody dark hump fast like a dog music
Dont make me start getting deep nigga!
Everyone can be taught how to sing. Doesn't mean everyone can become amazing singers. Also not a Kendrick issue, it's the same for everyone. Luther and Gloria are my favourite songs on GNX, so I don't mind when he goes a bit in that route. But that doesn't mean he will be able to perfect his vocal range to the required degree.

no, it’s not lmfao. someone like Drake thinks this way and it’s why you hear him struggle bus through songs that are nowhere within his vocal range trying to keep up with niggas like PND or SZA on broke my heart (atrocious singing from Drake lmao) as opposed to just strengthening his voice where it naturally lands

him saying this s*** while most of some sexy songs is autotuned vocal crooning is so f***ing stupid
I'm ignoring it because that's not what your initial post said. You said it's so easy to switch between genres, not that it benefits them, which even a 7 year old could tell u
i didn’t say it was easy i just said drake knew how to make pop music
idk why you’re like this dude it’s so goofy . no actual rebuttals jud personal and personal attacks and when those don’t stick you put words in my mouth
literally no one brought up kendrick too which is the crazy part niggas just hate for the fun of it
brain worms
I'd disagree

i got enough R&B artist to have rappers trying it out, I’d listen to it tho

nah that’s fair i’ll take that
