This is subjective and most people wouldn't agree with this. However, Cole been doing more for rap during the 2010s than Kanye.

WTT, Cruel Winter, introduced most people to Travis Scott, Yeezus, TLOP, Daytona, KTSE, Kids See Ghost.

What has Cole done to say he’s done more for rap in that time span

Substitute J Cole for Nicki and problem solved. She def has a claim to be up there, and so does Future.

J Cole is great but the lanes they blazed and the impact is greater.

It’s really Drake, Nicki, then Kendrick.

We can have a long debate about where to put Cole & Future.

And if we’re keeping it a buck, Kendrick’s position in that is getting weaker by the months.

Nobody cared about travis till 2014.

Cole was anointed as a chosen one and delivered a 10 year career with hits, classic verses, classic projects, developed a label and still remains one of the best sellers from his era for the past 10 years.

    Kanye is an 00s artist.

if we just going by staying in a certain type of neighborhood i was in cars firsthand wit niggas bumping that along with Chance, My Krazy Life and Keef/Migos lol although YG/Keef/Migos would probably get more play the more that we're around girls or other people lol

i personally dont consider myself a street/hood nigga but it aint as black and white as yall think when it comes to hood niggas bumping non street type artists tbh

Theres definitely a difference between what's hot in the hood and what people play. There's also some exaggeration. People pretty much play w.e. they want anywhere. However, the hottest (rappers most cared about) since like 2010 have pretty much been
    -the drill artists
    -flocka
    -gucci
    -gotti
    -boosie
    -future
    -thug

    -new rappers from this era
