Kendrick has delivered albums with some pretty heavy themes/messages that were also very enjoyable listens in the past, which is why MMATBS sticks out like a sore thumb lol.

Maybe it’s his least accessible album, but I still listen to it a lot so
TPAB is my most played album OAT so I always hated the replay value argument tbh. Doesn’t make sense to me.

TPAB remains Kendrick's most complex/well-executed album both lyrically, thematically and production-wise and I love that album lmao. It's so well done and put together that I'd take an instrumental version of the album over many rap albums that dropped in the same year.
