Lol look further up the thread. Was involved in a semi-scandal. Otherwise I’d still be there. It was a great fit. Blackish was an awkward fit for me as a 23 / 24 year old bachelor who’d never written tv before, suddenly on a show about parenting
Can’t believe I’m talking to someone famous rn. I guess some people do win.
Change name imo

I’m a nobody and would love to stay that way. Although that comment is how I feel any time I talk to drake even to this day
But I honestly think you’d be better on YouTube. Tik tok general audience is too dumb or doesn’t care. They just wanna see bing bong f*** your life jokes and continue on.
Nah it just depends on what you watch
Some of the best gym info is on tiktok
Like Rashoman style or what do you mean? I am a sucker for following storytelling conventions.
If you are going to break rules, know why and make sure it’s worth it
For example (spoiler alert), I love how in La La Land and 500 Days of Summer, the couples don’t end up together. Bold move for a rom-com and a musical rom-com at that, but it totally works and it totally makes sense for those stories. Especially 500 Days of Summer. The writer didn’t just do it just to do it
Yeah. Something different. I had an idea of a fragmented storytelling through one character's story in different places. Like in free-flowing manner.

Do you talk pretty often? Ever try to make a music video for him or throw him some ideas that he used?

This might be the thread but it's asking me to login and I'm not in the mood to login on KTT1
I remember seeing a video though, mans deadass printed out KTT PMs and had Judge Judy sifting through them
EDIT
Found a thread about this on another forum too

I think stuff like that is bold and ambitious but rarely works. When it works, it REALLY works. But often falls flat or confuses the audience. Audiences (especially TV) need to be spoon fed. Think about laugh tracks. You are literally telling the audience when they should laugh

WHAT
There’s this legendary Simpsons writer. All the other writers speak about him as if he is some sort of God. He’s very reclusive but he had an interview in the New Yorker or somewhere recently. And he had the absolute best advice. Especially having written for shows it resonates with me
Just write a s***ty version of it. Just write it. Not intentionally s***ty but just write it and don’t worry about the quality. Then rewrite it. Writing is hard. Rewriting is easy
John Swartzwelder is his name
Here is the article: https://www.newyorker.com/culture/the-new-yorker-interview/john-swartzwelder-sage-of-the-simpsons
He says:
But I do have a trick that makes things easier for me. Since writing is very hard and rewriting is comparatively easy and rather fun, I always write my scripts all the way through as fast as I can, the first day, if possible, putting in crap jokes and pattern dialogue—“Homer, I don’t want you to do that.” “Then I won’t do it.” Then the next day, when I get up, the script’s been written. It’s lousy, but it’s a script. The hard part is done. It’s like a crappy little elf has snuck into my office and badly done all my work for me, and then left with a tip of his crappy hat. All I have to do from that point on is fix it.
appreciate you

Mines seems ambitious. It's not for TV, but for a film. I'm more of intellectual approach to films rather than just quick 100 minutes of consumption. I'm well-known on this website liking for slow cinema or obscure films lol

I think when I first started coming around, I was so geeked that I probably screwed myself out of any meaningful relationship at least in the short term
We talked a couple of weeks ago because we were both at the same spot. I did write that one caption for him (further up thread). I’m also friends with people who have shot his videos. Director X in particular. So he doesn’t really need help there.
I think the more you desire from celebrity relationships, the more you’ll be let down. Unless it’s a genuine friend you’re close to and / or you knew before the fame. These days, I’m satisfied with the private parties, the brief convos, hearing music early because it’s often played at parties or because you’re watching an early cut of a video (although seeing a video early only happened once). Also it’s kinda funny knowing things that never get out. Although it’s not that much stuff
Lmao that’s incredible. Judge Judy gotta be lurking the site I know she listens to Ye.
She listens to Ye??
I been unemployed throughout 2021 so I watched A LOT of Judge Judy. I noticed she a little less patient and more snarky when it comes to black people on her show
Lowkey get confederate flag in the closet vibes from her
