The CDC knows more than you and me about pathogens and even then I didn’t really care for their flip flop attitude regarding lockdown and just stayed my ass at home

take your pick of anything that was said by the cdc or fauci over the past year and a half. if anyone on this forum tried to question it the 'believe science' crowd (many of which are the same users itt saying "BUT THE CIA!!!") would come out and immediately burn them at the stake and write off the idea of questioning these people as some far right tinfoil hat s***.

I have personally agreed with most of the things that have been said by Fauci and the CDC over the course of the pandemic but to act like these guys couldn't push an agenda or try to take advantage of citizens like they literally have in the past isn't particularly farfetched and it's just funny to watch the same people who scoffed at the idea of conspiracy in that instance advocate for it here just because socialism is under attack.

I mean are you kidding? There are dozens of ways the US government could have used the CDC's correspondence for its own gain during the pandemic. Like I said, I don't believe these things and I think and hope that the CDC has acted in the best interest of the people but the US government and the CDC could have used the pandemic and the ongoing vaccination effort for population control, market manipulation, the creation of a cashless society that furthers the birth of a surveillance state, the destruction of small business giving more power to major corporations that echo the interests of the government, and political/election manipulation.

Want to echo again that I don't believe these things and I think and hope that the CDC has acted in the best interest of the people, but to act like the US government and the CDC couldn't pull some s*** like this is insane and it's particularly insane when you act like they could never do it in one instance that fits your views but that they actively do in another that doesn't fit your views.

We never pretend the cdc or US couldn't do those things. Perhaps we a***ysed the situation and decided yeah covid is dangerous so we should do certain things plus you're conveniently ignoring that socialists were largely against quite a few of the policies or corporate bailouts that arose from covid.

It's not even that crazy, in plenty of countries (before the pandemic) people will wear a mask if they're sick, so they don't spread it to others

But there's a certain entitlement and selfishness in Babylon to where we (meaning the people of this country) could not give a damn less about others well being
