It may not seem like a big deal that people lost friends over this stuff over the years, but what about inventions and accomplishments, collaborative efforts, art, etc? We’ll never know what we’ve missed out as a society due to the widespread political discourse.

I’ve Lowkey have never have heard/seen anyone say defund the police irl lol. People say cops are corrupt and need to be trained better, which is a fact. Honestly it’s kind of weird that republicans are so against big gov/“the establishment”/etc yet military and police force are probably the biggest examples of this within the country….
