Metallica, ACDC, Guns N Roses, U2, Coldplay are bigger than Drake

Changes flopped for his standard, we all know that. But despite that it was still the 7th biggest album of 2020 WW. His flops are still top 10. Justice will be #2 and it's bigger than CLB.

Not sure about worldwide (i dont have those numbers) but per HDD

Justice dropped March 2021 and had pre release singles. 9 months and finished the year with 1.475M in the US (pre release single units moved in 2021 are counted in that total)

Drake dropped Sept 2021 with no pre release singles and finished the year with 1.973M in the US. Only 4 months.

Where are you getting worldwide units from? I'd like to see

  • Jan 10, 2022

Bruno's debut has sold over 15 million copies (and this was before the streaming era)

Unorthodox Jukebox was at 7kk in 2015. So definitely over 10kk now

You're only talking about US. how is that fair to Bieber when 75% of his success comes from outside the US where like 85% of drake success comes from the US

nah, no rapper will ever do stuff like that cause the music just isn't fit for that type of thing

This narrative that the weeknd is all about the music now is wild. Man was just shamelessly trying to prove how he was this huge popstar.
Dude was selling lollipops to count as an album purchase to boost his numbers

    Zack From The Six

    Another one bites the dust.
They tried to say that Justin Bieber, Post Malone, The Weeknd, Ed Sheeran are bigger than Drake.

    Justin Bieber: 154K last year.
    The Weeknd: 150K now.
Ed Sheeran: 118K some months ago.
Post Malone: Motley Crew and The Weeknd collab both flopped

Meanwhile Drake: 613K some months ago.
With no promo, no physicals, no kissing with the critics. And apparently with a bad album no one is listening to

There's levels to this s***. You love to see it after people were calling him dusted when his ''album'' of leaked tracks and leftovers did 223K first week.

At this point there's no more debating. Stop comparing him to anyone when it comes to being the biggest artist. Y'all been trying to discredit his status in the last 5 years. No one comes close.

So was literally every body sans Drake

Y’all bring this up in every thread like the entire industry wasn’t doing it.

It's difficult to measure something like this in a global scale. 99% of the countries don't have charts like Billboard, including mine which is a top 10 country in the music market.

But you don't numbers to know that JB is bigger and more popular than Drake globally. Just common sense.

Rap like I know I’m the greatest then give you tropical flavors, still never been on hiatus
