The day OVOXO link up, CLB boys gonna revisit this album and love it lol it’s funny how they moved on from hating on Ye to now doing this with Abel.

Kendrick season is gonna be a wild one for KTT

this doesn't surprise me, not having physicals can really damage your first week sales if you're not doing incredibly huge streams. i'm guessing he didn't wanna have to wait four months for the vinyls to be manufactured though so this was an acceptable loss for him. as long as it sells well in the long term it doesn't really matter.

This might be the biggest flop of the past few years

This beats Ed Sheeran for another pop artist that didn't deliver on the albums following their biggest success. 170k at the highest? I thought DLDT 223k was a flop or maybe I'm on ktt too much

Nooo it wasn’t all songs with 80s drums aren’t automatically the same song. There’s a lot of detail and insane talent gone into basically every song

    He wrote 5 songs

    https://twitter.com/theweeknd/status/183225333502312449

    shot for me (co-wrote)
crew love (didnt write drakes verse, so a feat)
cameras/ good ones go (background vocals on good ones go)
practice (probably mostly written by abel)
    the ride = background vocals

"There’s, like, 22 songs on Take Care. He contributed on four of them," 40 said. "There are 18 other songs on there where that guy was nowhere to be found, right? So it’s like, ‘Yeah, cool and you contribute to a few records on Take Care. Significant records, sure, but it was a few. It wasn’t a lot.’ It’s a common misconception. I made that whole album. I saw Abel maybe two days. I was in there for like a year."
