I'm throwing furniture if the WAR season ends without a single huge battle scene

Just going through the season again and it’s baffling what they decided to spend time on this season. So much repetitive bs.

Not saying we need war all the time but a lot of these characters are so one dimensional, I don’t find anyone outside of Aegon interesting. Jace’s latest tirade has me paying attention to him now though.

The war feels so low stakes atm since Team Green has been portrayed as being bad

i wont be shocked if we find out youtube reviewers were paid, this season was dogshit and they all defended it

People are allowed to find it boring especially if the politicking in early GOT was backed by strong character work
The characters in HOTD are fine but they don't hold a candle to the electric ensemble in the main show, not to mention this season's plotting has been lackluster imo. I hate making comparisons especially when the shows have a different feel but let's not act like these complaints are unwarranted Lol

Certain elements like Daemon visions and Alicent winging sure but the whole season is brain rot type commentary

if your saying this show isnt as good as GOT seasons 1-4, i agree and that's somewhat obvious. but i also think GOT 1-4 was right up there among the best things ever put on television so that is a high standard.

this show has way fewer characters and fewer locations in play. so the characters in this show get more screen time and attention. makes the vibes a little different. but it's still excellent

Nope, season 1 was gr8. This season focus and pace was off af especially considering the fact both sides are literally at war and we waste valuable time on s*** like rhaenyra risking it all to sneak into the castle to hear alicent state the obvious

I didn’t have a problem with the idea just the execution and even then only slightly lol Rhaenyra was trying to avoid war at that point and was only halfheartedly in, that convo gave her the push to go into full war and stop p****footing, which is fair and necessary character progression

They even made the season 2 episodes shorter
