he just incompetent.
he struggles when faced with hard choices. that's his biggest flaw
but cmon dawg u chosin ya wife or the baby?
this an easy pick
Toasting to the death of his son is cool?
I didn’t say he was a good hearted lad
good thing a targaryen was on the throne and the whole realm was united when the white walkers came. if not we would have been in serious trouble

in the behind the scenes s*** at the end bruh said she was gonna die either way. didnt seem that clear in watching but if that was the intention then its the only choice
HBO can’t stop winning man
Man I’m really surprised, this was really good first episode.
Didn’t like the Winter is Coming aspect because it feels like a rehash.
Actually a couple of things in here feel like a rehash so I’d like to see how they will make this feel different but still part of the same universe.
But obviously history does repeat itself

Got it mixed up, it was either lose both anyway or have a chance at saving the kid. Aemma was gone regardless

yeah that gave me a whole different POV
The way they pitched it iirc was "you either save one or you sacrifice both", so I thought that maybe it meant she coulda lived, if he picked
Lol at saying thr song of ice and fire out loud
No subtlety at all lol, big s8 vibes there
HBO can’t stop winning man
They knew to put this premiere on right after their HBOMax WB shenanigans
sadly the whole "winter is coming" speech at the end didn't hit me the way i wish it did just knowing how the og all turned out :/
still a great sequence suuuper dope way to end the episode and kinda get back into the world

Baby was stuck without the head or the feet in the direction of the exit
Given all we know about birthing deaths before modern medicine, that woman was doomed

It was hard when he said king or queen but that's about it
in the behind the scenes, the director basically admits they were chasing an easy way to tie in to the major plot point of GoT
I think they just wanted to create an easy W in some fans' minds imo. I don't think it's something they do often going forward
My boy Sam Tarley heard he called it a song of ice and fire and thought it would be a fire book title
