Busting through the dragon pit and killing all those civilians without attacking the green team was a little odd but I see it as like she wanted to send a message to the people of kings landing that this is bullshit and won’t stand, but she also didn’t want to straight up murder that side of her own family. It was certainly an act of terrorism and the most vile thing that anyone has done on this show yet

i read the book and you guys are taking the "many people died for the targaryen civil war" thing way too far. people died in the war fighting for both sides. people did not get killed by the hundreds because of mere recklessness and malice with the exception of one character who i can't really talk about yet due to spoilers.

shows herself to be the best possible ruler by bursting through the f***ing floor and killing hundreds if not a thousand of the people she would have been ruling over only to not kill the people she has beef with

From a writing perspective, I think it made sense to have Rhaenys there to witness the coronation so she could leave and go tell Team Black what happened. You could have written it such that everything happens the same way except instead of coming up through the floor she just busts out the side with her dragon and the building shakes so everyone floods out and then she's there on her dragon and just gives a roar to the Green Team before bouncing. This would accomplish the same thing (her declaring herself against Team Green) without the civilian casualties. Arguably, this would have been better writing.

But I think there's value in her act of terrorism because it will spread quickly throughout the city and the realm, a message that this new king isn't the real king. if she just bounced out peacefully with a roar but no deaths, maybe the common folk of King's Landing and elsewhere would have been like peace out b**** and continued to be accepting of Aegon as king.

She shouldn't have been. No reason why she didn't leave when Rhaenyra and Laenas daughter left. She wasn't even at the last supper last episode
