Just the White Walkers but there's no clear leader or anything like that. They're also a bit creepier/angelic looking and they ride spiders and s***

And they have their own spoken language that sounds like ice cracking
They even had someone create the sounds for them, but D&D ended up scrapping it smh

I thought the WWs were really cool and creepy at Hardhome but everything after that was pretty corny

Yea Hardhome is a f***in classic episode . I remember just being in complete shock throughout the entire sequence , it was the very first time we ever saw the army of the dead attack with their full power
I have a vivid memory of watching that episode in my room and just having my mouth hung open for that last entire sequence until the credits rolled.
Then I realized my mom was in the other room watching the episode but
she was still like 10 minutes behind me, so I ran in the living room and sat down and watched that sequence again with her lmao

Yeah the way Jon and Tormund stare out at the dead rising like "how the f*** do we even fight this?" That episode was peak GoT
D&D weren't usually good at writing original stories for the show, but man they knew how to film big spectacles and huge battles

Miguel Sapochnik directed Hardhome, he's also one of the main dudes behind HotD season 1
Stepped down for season 2 though

Yupp
Miguel a GOAT, it's a shame he won't be a part of the show anymore but im thankful that they brought him on to help establish the look of the show
I hate that he didn't stay long enough to direct an episode that had any big dragon battles though

Miguel did Battle of the B******s and the following episode of Cersei destroying the Sept as well
He needs to do movies or something

i love him 9/10 times but i hate that he insists on making night-time scenes absolutely unwatchable
i dont want any more day2night failures like the one in ep7 where u had to squint to see anything
Also, what kind of super disease makes you lose an eye and part of your jaw? Was he f***ing rubbing his eye with his infected eye or something?
whatever those rats scurrying everywhere carry
On rewatch of ep 8, that entire scene in the throne room is vintage GOT. Excellent stuff
Last Episode got so confusing with the Names. I had to look it up. Why do they have to name their children sameish names

It's just what Targaryens and Valaryons do

NBA thread got me thinking about how the Hodor scene had me sobbing through the credits lmao
I'll bever forgive D&D for how they ruined the end
