I wish they would’ve just announced from the very beginning that every episode of game of thrones and house of the dragon were just inspired by the novels because this constant side-by-side comparison between the show and the books is exhausting. Literally no tv series or film will ever live up to its literary counterpart. This has always been true. I’ve never read the books. I’m sure they’re life changing. I’m sure they’re better than the show. Despite all of that, show is fine and many of us are having fun watching it
So apparently all the kids are 17-21, Luke n Jace barely look 14-15 to me lol
Luke is 13 and Jace is 14 at this point but they could've changed that in the show
It was actually mentioned by Sam that drogon was last seen heading to Volantis. I always thought that was an interesting detail for them to add since they got a red priestess there that can revive people
Yep. Was a popular theory after S8 finale released. Dany also has a prominent meeting with the leader of the red priestesses in S6 which was never really followed up on (classic.)
The fact that they planted the seeds for a resurrection is interesting, but that’s gonna be a tough arc to pull off if they go down that path.
Saw the “miscommunication” trope coming the moment they first showed Vaserys this episode
Other than that it was a good episode
I saw it as Allicent realizing Viserys mistook her for Rhaenyra. She was clearly pissed off and will act out of spite and will surely be encouraged by Otto.
Sucks because for a minute there her and Rhaenyra seemed to make peace but then she returned to her petty ways in the end smh. Otto ruined her

Idk she kept asking for clarification on which Aegon, seems like it was just miscommunication
He’s mistaken her for his first wife before mistaking her for his daughter isn’t as bad especially when they giving him that tea drink
Who’s that kid in the cell in ep 9 preview, rhaneyras son?
Targ b******
brought back so memories of my own pops getting sick and eventually passing, this episode hit so much. the scene where daemon helped him up to the throne was everything
Luke is 13 and Jace is 14 at this point but they could've changed that in the show
In the aftershow, the show runner said all the kids were between 17-21
s8 was just the natural conclusion to all the s*** writing decisions they made in s5-s7. i don't think there's a way to fix the ending without undoing all that s*** first.
i'd rather see a faithful animated adaptation once (or rather if) the books are finished.
Animated GoT would be fye
Power scaling wise, Cole world ~20 years ago was a better fighter than Daemon
20 years later, older Cole appears to be bested by Aemond. Full well possible Daemon has grown stronger since then (even though he should be like 40 or some s*** I’d think )
A song of ice and fire brotherhood
Feel like the Castlevania team would do it really well

He was also being a cocky s***head when he lost to Cole
War and the years have definitely made him a better fighter I'd say, I'd put my money on him. But also I just f***ing hate Cole.
How has Cole not aged a day in like 30 years
Nigga coulda grew a beard or something
Bro did Viserys really have to lose all that weight IRL? Holy s***.
Alicent needs to control her got damn kids man
Aerion Targaryen - After returning to Westeros, one night, whilst drunk, Prince Aerion drank wildfire, after telling friends that this would transform him into a dragon. Instead, it resulted in his immediate death. The story of the "Prince Who Thought He Was a Dragon" is still told to children many decades later. After his death, his son, Maegor, was passed by the Great Council as a choice for the Iron Throne, in fear that his son had the same madness as Aerion.
