For anyone not familiar with this story, it does have an ending.
And the showrunners are staying extremely faithful to the source material

So there is no reason to think they'll pull a GOT season 8

yeah only issue I really see is that George I dont think actually wrote POVs for these characters. So the dialogue and beats inbetween events hopefully aren't as hackish as D&D's writing
