I think this next episode ends with Viserys’ death. Episode 9 is titled “The Green Council” so I think this is when Alicent & her supporters secretly convene to ascend Aegon to the throne. No idea how the finale will end though

He could be the Jeffrey type character the show been missing, he was so joffreyish In that last ep other than accepting the eye for a dragon trade off, Jeffrey b****ass woulda still been crying demanding justice

i’ve been thinking storm’s end truly seems like the right place for it to end the season with a big moment like that. good cliffhanger material there.
