Never in my wildest dreams did I think a show about the Targs could be this gripping. This ep was great, the older actors are fantastic.
They’d have to move well beyond the book timeline to do that. I remember when Fire & Blood first came out, GRMM mentioned how he wanted to release a part 2 that would cover the events from the end of the first book book to the start of Game of Thrones. But that’s almost certainly not going to be happening. Even though the show is great idk how people would respond to the writers going beyond the source material given what happened with GOT.
Yeah I did hear about GRRM working on Pt. 2, “Blood & Fire” was the name. I havent read much of the source material, so I’m assuming there are a ton of gaps from the end of Dance of Dragons up to the start of GOT?
Rhaenyras kids aren’t b******s if their claim to the throne is through their mother.
This isn’t a Joffrey kinda situation…they have Targaryen blood.
You really think they were unnecessary? Nobody would know wth was going on if the show started at Ep 6
I didn't say everything was unnecessary though

I love Alicent but her logic and delusions this ep lmaooo. But I can’t blame her she has been isolated for 10 years she been crazy
Criston needs to move on bro his beef with Rhae is hilarious
But I guess he’s an easy target to hate

They're b******s in the sense that they are out of wedlock
They're b******s in the sense that they are out of wedlock
This should be angering the Velaryons more than the Crown though
Lmaooo yo I had to mute and read the subtitles when Viserys started that story, the second hand embarrassment I felt in that moment 💀💀💀💀💀
So Rhaenera is giving up on the throne?
Having kids changed her I guess
Rhaenyra first lines were about her being queen and the synopsis for the show mentions a civil war. They probably gonna kill Vicerys off soon and kick this s*** off
Wow guys how the tables turn, does anyone feel like Alicent is going to revert back to being a pawn. I feel like the way Larys was moving this episode is an indication of that, I mean Larys knows he is a second son who stands to gain nothing so what does he do? Murders his own kin in order to advance his succession to Harrenhal (thus increasing his political power). He also implicates Alicent in this act to further protect himself and removes the tongues of those directly responsible for the treasonous act. Idk what Larys' game is here but it does seem like he's using Alicent and the power that comes with being in her inner circle to further his own ends.
Also there's a theory going around that Larys is a greenseer and is warging into the rats that scurry around the Red Keep. He does have the blood of the first men so it would make sense but idk about this one.
Yep he is the wildcard imo. He has positioned himself wonderfully here.

Im hype as f*** to see every characters' immediate reaction to the news. What they all will be expressing.

deadass bro is so salty all just because he blew the chance himself. bro DIDNT escape any of the politics, has stayed here, and screwed over his chances to potentially have a kid on the iron throne in the future. MORONE

Doesn’t really matter when viserys made rhaenyra his true heir tho…like the guy above me said this should be a matter that would make the velaryons angry. Not alicent…she’s acting like her kids are more Targaryen than rhaenyras. When in reality both are half.
? u buggin
These niggas only pay attention when theres battle scenes I’m convinced
She hates rhaenyra for saying her father lied and getting him fired as the hand and exiled cuz cole told her they f***ed now she knows rhaenyra was prob lying about daemon too.
Why doesn’t she have Cole confess to the king what happened? He seems more than willing

You think he would listen? Lol he’s very protective of his own family. You should’ve noticed this by now.
they're mad about the birth trauma and saying that this + the c-section in episode 1 is just another way to show women suffering
B****es always complaining bout some s***

Lol what. They're are b******s because they aren't children of her husband.
