Would rather either of them be dating someone else. Their chemistry feels so forced relationship wise to me

their dynamic isn’t interesting enough to have the show be centered around it
I hope it turns Nate to a decent dude getting his ass beat
if Nate became a better person then there wouldn't be much of a show tbh
Hmm interesting
How cliche is it tho
It’s like if Tumblr in 2013-2015 threw up it’s entire being on film and converted it to be translated to current Twitter
People overreact to how dark this show is. I don’t know if it’s because I lived a much darker life especially in my teenage years I’m numb to these situations. Or the fact there are significantly more darker coming of age shows and movies. I remember people going nuts over mid 90s and I’m thinking in my head, did anyone ever actually watch the movie K.I.D.S? Digressing I understand certain elements being unsettling, but that’s what reality often is for most people.
Idk how ppl are upset of Mid90’s, it was typical “white ppl problems” for me for the most part and the kids end up coming off like a******s. Yeah I get there’s aesthetic and you have to have lived that life but what good does it do if you don’t like them? There wasn’t anything shocking whatsoever personally
As for KIDS… falls in the same damn boat. Felt like if you were 9 and saw a 13 year old smoking a cig you feel like they’re the coolest person ever until you hit 20. Whole time watching I did not get the hype around it and didn’t like any of the characters besides one and he ended up raping a girl
I just tell people Euphoria is Degrassi on steroids but i never thought it was dark. Half of me doesn’t think this actually happens to high schoolers and fits more of the college scene
Can someone remind me why Nate and Fez have beef?
went into season2 without rewatching szn 1 and feeling a little lost smh

I think it’s mostly the implications of p\*do Philip in both movies. I understand it’s uncomfortable to look at but it’s also a reality older dudes and girls being predatory.
As far as Euphoria goes. My middle and high school experience was similar in certain aspects. That’s why none of it is really alarming to me because my teenage life was very similar. Honestly Euphoria is very tame compared to things I was seeing and doing between 8th - 10th grade

It reminds me of Piper and what’s her face from OITNB. Their relationship was the most boring thing about the show. Piper was honestly the worst part of the show being the protagonist. I love Zen but she’s one of the least interesting characters to me atm

Honestly a lot of people just grew up sheltered and lived good noodle lives so the idea of teenagers raising hell and acting foolish and doing d**** n other adult s*** seems unrealistic to them
Some people will watch this tho and will be able to relate or have witnessed this type of s*** happening at their school

YouTube a recap tbh. it's been so long I needed a like 10 minute recap of Season 1. I completely forgot s*** like Nate dealing with his own sexuality and s*** like that.
Nate and Fez thing boils down to Nate reporting him to the cops and made Fez flush all his s*** so he had no money for his plug which put him in the spot at the opening of the episode
It’s cool, more style than substance at times but you’ll be hooked regardless
