Apr 7, 2021Rewatching this. I can’t put my finger on it, but this show just feels so soulful. IRL is nothing like this, but it’s hyperbolic. Everything in this show is so over the top. I feel like it’s how I would describe parts of my high school experience where I struggled with d****, gender identity, bi-polar etc. It’s cathartic to see someone else grapple with a lot of what I struggled/struggle with.
