It really feels like the perfect time.

The play was basically recapping how ridiculous the school drama was in the first two seasons and now these characters are ready to move on and make new mistakes in the adult world.

It will be super interesting next season to see how they grow.

Maddy flat out told her Nate would be back and Cassie would take him back and she knows because she went through the exact same cycle with Nate first (“This is just the beginning.”)
