Nate just scarred
I feel like Cal would've hinted at it (or said it) when he did that whole speech to his family
I forget did they show Nate discovering the tape stash last season as a young boy ?
Y’all think Cal ever touched Nate or Nate just saw him f***ing a dude when he was 9 and been scarred ever since
He saw the tapes when he was 11, when he was 8 something happened that they haven’t explained yet
let's see if it actually happens / bubbles up to the surface unlike a lot of things they tease lol
Apparently there was a BTS thing where they were originally supposed to be naked in that pool scene.

honestly i think they just f***ed up his age and that something happened at 8 was supposed to be a reference to the tapes. they did it this episode as well as referring to Lexi character in the play as Grace but in one scene of the plays the rotating locker scene, the actor says Lexi.

wonder why they nixed it. probably didnt wanna go all the way with it yet
this was a great episode for ethan & lexi lol

It's crazy in the first season you see Kat as something of a tragic character who goes through a lot. You want better for her and she eventually come out better in the end, and she gets a good guy who loves her for her and doesn't care about the other s***.
Then season two she throws all that s*** away for...no f***in reason and she just ends up a trash person. Such a waste of character development forreal
Oh yeah S2E6 Cassie is probably the most insufferable she has ever been in this whole series. I get it, she's an overdramatic teenager, but holy f***in s***

yeah. yeah & in all honesty i dunno if i liked the ED thing they were trying to float on her this season, which led to the rumored conflict that got her character scaled back. seems cheap & too easy.
if anything i dunno, they should have talked about beauty standards & the pressure to conform to IG baddies & surgery & actual body positivity
"pseudo-arthouse tension building"
What does that mean
niggas use the word pseudo to try to sound smart but in reality they got the iq of a doorknob
wonder why they nixed it. probably didnt wanna go all the way with it yet
Alexa Demie was uncomfortable, I don't think we're going to see any of the girls nude anymore...

def from the tapes
My Impressions of s2e7
this episode was awful. how tf is a high school play gonna depict minors jerking each other off. Were there no censors ? Speaking of which where’s the principal in all this? Seemed unreal that all the adults in the audience would be smiling and cheering ab all the substances being done and underage s\*\*\*being performed in the play. No realism anymore. also where is the Laurie plot line at … she just not gonna try and recoup her losses? They strung that fez scene out waaaaay too long. Literally nothing happened as far as his storyline is concerned this ep. This show consistently wastes it’s best characters/moment in favor of indulgent bs. You couldn’t have given more time to fez’ plot line and cut out that long ass overture at the beginning of the episode?

You dumbfucks have to be in middle school to act like what I said didn’t make sense 😭
Ngl writers are f***ing up if they don’t tie the unseen younger brother to Nate being a psychopath. That cal s*** is too obvious and uninteresting at this point
Y’all think Cal ever touched Nate or Nate just saw him f***ing a dude when he was 9 and been scarred ever since
The second part. I don't think they're going to make Cal that evil after making him a more sympathetic/interesting character this season

What they did with that love yourself scene is way more interesting than an ED. It's been done to death.
A big gripe I have is why the f*** is every female obsessed over Nate man? Like is there literally no other dude in their school they wanna chase after?
really brings down the scale of this world they are trying to create when there’s only 1 dude in this fictional LA suburb being gawked after
Show needs to stop being cheap and cast some more supporting characters/cliques from their school. I’m sure they not the only group of friends doing wild s*** at this school
Skins did a really great job of this
Lil Meech should’ve had a bigger role
