chip skylarkI don’t see how, even if everyone was expecting a Maddy & Cassie beat down I liked the episode a lot
Rue’s whole thing with Ali was awesome + that talk he had with Gia >. He acknowledges her feelings even though the audience says every episode “she just cries in the corner”
Ethan finally left Kat’s ass which is great cause the whole season I was expecting her to do it first. Even with all this false confidence she has she couldn’t nut up and hurt the “nice guy” and he was the one that had to be the “brutal” one
You see classic Nutty Nate thats still in love with Jules which was a plot point I totally forgot about
Lexi finally calling Cassie out & bonding with someone for once with Fez
Seeing how far Cassie’s quest for male attention goes shows how much her father bailing really affects her
What’s not to like
I liked it because it felt both like the cooldown after the nonstop rush of Episode 5, plus the calm before the storm of what seems to be a very climactic Episode 7
Some people need to understand that in television, without slower buildup episodes like Episode 6, the bigger episodes don’t have as much impact to them

I enjoyed this episode. It felt very transitional which was needed as last week was a banger and it looks like we got another banger coming up next week so we needed something like this in between
Rue on the phone with Ali had me tearing up
Cassie was really cutting up. I’m dead at her comparing her situation with Rue. At least Rue can say she’s a piece of s*** because she’s a d*** addict. You’re a sober POS Cass, what’s your excuse?
And her telling Lexi to drop Rue bc she treats her like s*** only to run off with Nate at the end of the ep. Like what?
She is the living embodiment of why it’s so important for a young woman to have a good father in her life
I felt so bad for Maddy in this ep but I liked Lyla Garrity imparting some of her hoe wisdom to her in that hot tub
