Laurie wanted to give Rue the illusion of choice. She made it seem like it was Rue's idea to take the morphine. But in reality there was no way in hell she was gonna let Rue leave that house.

Rue was gonna get injected with that morphine whether she wanted it or not.
Then Laurie prolly wouldve kept her doped up in the house "helping" her, until Rue became reliant on Laurie.
Then Laurie could do whatever tf she wanted with Rue without a fight

  • Feb 7, 2022

but yeah the first 10 or 15 minutes in the house with rue and her mother, and then jules in the kitchen were maybe the best minutes of the season so far.

when rue broke that motherfuckin door down

im hoping rue don’t make ali relapse assum

  • Feb 7, 2022

I’m convinced that white bird in the cage is the leader and mastermind of this whole operation.

It was looking at Rue like a Bond villain.

Ngl, this show is graphic af. Rue went from super junkie to the Tom Brady of junkies, goddam. Can’t even say this is fake because we have a fentanyl/heroin problem near me with high schoolers

I still think there’s a good chance she dies this season

They aren’t doing a Season 3 of Euphoria without Rue.

    Ain’t happening.

  • shaleirose

Without spoiling anything, is the season gonna end in a way that pisses a lotta people off? I read something that said people were gonna be mad at the ending

    BIG YEP!!

Next episode’s preview is pretty much just Maddy and that disk.

S*** is about to go off.

Didn’t rue bring it up first ?

once Laurie put everything together (Rue was lying about being clean, wasn't gonna come up with the money) then she made all those decisions that post laid out.

it was so random how her mother was like "you embarrassed now huh" and then rue circles around to the kitchen

  • Rue went from easily running out of breathe tryna catch up with Jules, to out maneuvering multiple cops while holding her boo boo in. Very impressive.

Laurie first brought up that the only d**** she had was morphine.
Which we see is a lie because she later opens up a giant suitcase of d****.
But she wanted Rue to become reliant on being injected with morphine.

She was playing the long game

This is how madams and pimps truly are. TV usually gives a really false impression when it comes to the power structure of a pimp or madam character. This was scarily on par. She’s not intimidating physically because she’s intimidating mentally. Her calm and chill demeanor speak volumes more than any physical trait could. The best way to control someone’s next move is to make it for them and make them believe they have a choice. She set the roadmap out the minute she have rue those d****. She knew rue was going to f*** up the package. And rue would be in her debt and she would be able to tax on interest. She was rue’s pimp the moment rue got those d**** from her
