to be honest i dont see why sam levinson needs to be a part of the show. sure, his visual DNA is all over it and would be difficult to replace that. but writing wise, the show would improve drastically

i suppose it doesnt really matter anymore anyway, there's no doubt S3 is the final season because everyone involved seems very done with it

Tbh this show had one more season left in it anyways, just in terms of narrative escalation, where does a show like Euphoria go after it's already touched on the super heavy topics that its touched on?

It's bizarre for a show to entirely hinge on 1 person like this. It never had any chance of being a well timed thing because its at the mercy of 1 person who fully controls writing and directing duties. Why can't there be a team? Even in that article they're implying he needs voices of reason around him

Yeesh crazy read but Zendaya and Sam’s creative relationship completely falling apart is 100% the best thing for her career tbh, she was talking about working with him after euphoria like even after malcom & marie she still wanted to make him a frequent collaborator

as big as Zendaya is, it’s crazy that she hasn’t even been on a movie set since December 2022. like ain’t no way in hell she wasn’t offered a bunch of other projects to keep her occupied afterwards

seems like she was trying to keep her schedule open to do S3. her reward? Levinson STILL hasn’t even written a rough draft of the season and now they’re blaming her for prioritizing her career at the expense of the show
