people are also so pretentious and condescending hating on everything Levinson does just cuz its a bandwagon

there are a million shows more ass than this and Idol, people need a reality check

Not everyone who dislikes something is hating or joining a bandwagon

I love the first two seasons of this show and the idol and I’m sure I’m not the only person who feels that way

you right. they both still on the ass list though

  • It's a shame because had it not been for the writing everything else just about was great. Everyone did good to great acting wise outside of Maude Apatow or whatever the f*** her name is, the cinematography was great, even the stupid overall premise and vibe of the show could have been great. But the brother just can't write Why he chose to write this alone I will never understand.

Could use a recut of this honing in the focus into a long ass Tarantino esque movie or mini series lol I’d love to rewatch it without so much of the filler episode to episode

The season got better in the latter half imo
The first half was a lil rough at first getting used to

It honestly feels like an Alamo movie in disguise with pointless filler using the Euphoria characters to camouflage it onto HBO safely

Why he was even allowed to do so by HBO after the Idol I will never understand

yea lil nigga was trigger happy to back alamo then bishop says put it down and he ain't anything else after

i also didn't like ali waiting till the bottle fell to shoot after alamo's gun jammed

I would have popped this nigga head as soon as she touched the bottle tbh

  • The shows writing went downhill this last season but still fun to watch it go into some western tarantino s***. Really wish we had more closure with jules storyline and a better sendoff with cassie, lexi, and maddie. It really turned into the Alamo and Ali show but I enjoyed those parts for what they are

It sounds like Angus dying might’ve been the main reason why Sam chose to kill off Rue

no dude. The Idol especially was exceptional levels of assery.

  • thought the ending was decent. Rues end kinda made sense. Wish Jules got more closure but i remember Hunter pretty much wrote her last season so i wonder if that wasnt the case here.

This season just felt like they had s*** on a wall they wanted to cross off and not much of a story to tell.

this is kinda bullshit and defeatist, people totally recover and rue was recovering but got laced

simply saying um yeah junkies are unsavable is stupid

And this dumb f*** calls that (Alamo poisoning her with fentanyl, everyone not named Ali just assuming she died randomly taking d**** and Jules painting her burning in hell) “honoring angus”

  • Smacked Voodoo

(I was about to s*** on the writing so hard before they revealed she was dreaming)

Brother..."it was all a dream" is one of the most clichéd tropes in television/film. If there's any time to s*** on the writing, that is often the most rightfully opportune time.

it wasn’t the “it was all a dream” trope. it was a dream sequence leading to her death. two different things

    it wasnt hell cmon lol
and ppl have been doubting rue all season, we are supposed to feel rage

but yeah i remember levinson said something about showing hope for addicts and idk what he was talking about

I think the creator said he based Rue off himself when he was a d*** addict, but when he was an addict fentanyl wasn’t a thing, he said if it was when he was an addict then he probably would’ve died, that’s his explanation for it whether it’s good or bad

I think this is the reason too. It was beautiful though, merging real life with fiction.

Nope, the one Marshon Lynch peeped in episode one is light years ahead

Nope, the one Marshon Lynch peeped in episode one is light years ahead

Gotta rewatch ep 1 for educational purposes

  • Maddie vs Cassie is literally the age old debate of brunettes vs blondes at its peak

  • Ending the series with a western style draw shootout in a strip club is the most American s*** ever

Ali getting that s*** back in blood with a self made sawed off shotgun and wearing the army uniform was amazing

IM HERE FOR ONE MOTHERFUCKER!! ALAMO BROWN!!

  • The scene where Ali went to his last rehab meeting, that whole dialogue he had about life boiling down to two things: there’s people who make the world a better place and people who make it worse. That scene alone deserves an award tbh, some of the realest s*** I’ve ever seen on TV
