While I think it was out of character for Maddy I don’t think Alamo took it in stride. I think he clocked it and put it in his back pocket for later without letting her know his sirens went off.

But then again this Sam we talking about and that might not be the case smh

This to me is the problem with writers trying to push a specific plot and not thinking what’s realistic for the characters.

“We need Rue to get caught by the Nazi going into the safe so let’s make Faye betray her”

“We need Alamo to find out Rue is with the DEA so let’s have Rue tell Lexi, Lexi will tell Maddy and Maddy will tell Alamo”

“We need Alamo to possibly get into more beef with the Armenians so let’s have the Armenians kidnap Cassie (rather than pimp her out with only fans, logically answer) in which Maddy will be desperate enough to ask for Alamos help. This nigga Alamo will help her because umm…THE PLOT….so Alamo will kill the big boss BUT he keeps his goon alive and hopefully that will bring more drama! Brilliant!”

And the thing is, all those things sound dope on paper, and there’s a way to do it…. But it has to be based around actual character decisions.

For example It feels like the writers knew they wanted to kill Nate so they put him in a situation where he owes money.

But it contradicts Cassie’s only fans storyline because she’s making a s*** ton of money. Surely she can easily pay them back.

So instead they have Naz kidnap Cassie to prolong Nate paying them back so he can get killed. Which obviously makes no sense because if you want your money back then just pimp out Cassie…hello.

As soon as Nate died, they killed Naz because his only purpose to the plot was to kill off Nate’s character smh. He no longer serves a purpose to the plot.

Nate going from All American white picket fence golden boy who is secretly evil because of the trauma from his father to just being the village idiot was a s***ty choice for his character.

The entirety of this plot line sucked. In a show that is massively unrealistic at least when dealing with the d*** lords and pimps it’s easier to suspend disbelief because of how sensationalist those worlds can be. No world is someone going to people like that for a legitimate real estate transaction especially when the amount isn’t crazy and something you could pretty easily get from a bank lol
