I think the discovery stuff will just be in its own tab on HBO Max. Idk what their content catalogue is like, but I can't imagine it's big/worthy enough for a name change.

HBO should've stopped D&D from destroying GoT and hired new show runners. If they had given it a proper ending, which means at least one more season, HBO+ would be huge now.

I think HBO couldn't do that because George R. R. Martin gave the rights to D&D

They didnt own the rights, HBO did and does. I dont know what the contracts with D&D said, but if they had really wanted to, they would probably have found a way to replace them.

wife and i started Doom Patrol this week, on episode 5 and i still can’t tell how much i like it it’s definitely not bad but some parts/characters are just too much. i can feel it growing on me slowly tho.

HBO Sunday’s used to be insane 2019 when a solid 2 hyped shows at least were dropping that night. Add a moment like that to the already solid catalog here and it’s even crazier

Feel like some of that fire might return when Succession comes back, then inevitably Barry, Euphoria, etc… but when the seasons were overlapping there was nothing like it. Will be interesting as well once HBO Max originals clash with HBO channel content. Could happen when Peacemaker drops

Feel like HBO Max UI app has progressively gotten worse, especially on a Roku TV. S*** is damn near unusable

Upgraded from ad plan to regular to see Suicide Squad, app loads a lot faster on my Firestick now and UI isn’t as hard to navigate was I being f***ed over?
