Man I’m sure this got addressed by KingofPop in the thread but there’s a lot of doubt and just straight up inconsistencies and bad people lodging the complaints. Now, imo, MJ had trouble maturing into adulthood. A mental block. I’ve watched so many interviews, and I personally think because of his youth and what he suffered as a kid, he really escaped into thinking he was a child. I don’t think it was sexual. In fact part of me tends to believe that MJ may have been asexual. But of course, it’s weird, and people took advantage of the eccentricity of this. There’s a lot red flags that I’m sure have been pointed to with each allegation.

I really used to believe MJ was not innocent for the longest time. I mean you see it at media level and just the circumstance of it, a grown man spending time with children like that, and it’s hard to think otherwise. I watched the HBO doc, and that’s when something really seemed off for the first time. Then I really went into a deep dive. It’s crazy. Like reading the backgrounds, context of each allegation. A lot of strange things.

In summary, MJ hosted 1000s of children at his ranch. Holding carnivals for them. Charity Etc etc. A predator wouldn’t have the ability to turn on and off his instinct around children like that. Then you look at each allegation. Very opportunist parents and stories that chronologically don’t make sense. Like excruciating red flags. Timelines and settings that are impossible.

MJ’s whole life was surrounding himself with children and protecting the innocence and nature of children which he identified with. It’s strange, no doubt. I think he had a lot of trauma that made him that way. Resorting to comfort in discovering a childhood. I truly came away from reading about MJ, feeling heartbroken for MJ.
