Yeah way worse version of Life on Mars. Like what was the point of making that song? We already have Life on Mars + Space Oddity + Oh You Pretty things from early Bowie

    Better than life on mars

Also "Treat People with Kindness" is the worst song of the last 10 years at least ON GOD. Dude should be sentenced to 50 lashes in the public square for making something so egregiously and aggressively awful

    absolutely terrible

Harry is honestly less than mid and is only at the level he’s at because he’s a “non toxic” white man for white women who still want to simp over white men specifically to simp over.
Literally he would not have a leg to stand on if women still felt comfortable vocalizing support for men who don’t wear skirts.
    Adore You is nice though

i cant believe people actually think this. As It Was was clearly influenced by Future Nostalgia just like the rest of the bland pop singles being released by mid pop artists now.

    but ktt2 hates women ofc

Future Nostalgia? Not The Weeknd? Or one of the artists who influenced both of them with that sound e.g Jamiroquai, Daft Punk?

the Blinding Lights argument is a valid one

but ever since the success of Don't Start Now, that has become the sound of bland pop music as these artists are not Dua. Labels will assign an artist that sound for their single when desperate.

I liked Lizzo's take on it though

As the former or the latter? Tyler the Creator handled it well imo. Didn't make his sexuality his whole personality but still addressed the topic and it was jarring based on his past but does kinda make sense if you think about it in a he was overcompensating kind of way. Lines like "Currently looking for 95 Leo" and "Fill my house with Leo Dicap and Cole Sprouses" type lines do make me cringe though

Frank, Syd and Tyler don't have this air of fakeness about it to them. Maybe there's a discussion to be had about how not being white has an impact Cudi, Uzi and Thug kinda flirting with it, but like you guys are saying, it feels like that's not really them

Yeah Its an indefinable thing. Like authentic =
    -Tyler
    -Frank
    -Freddie Mercury
    -David Bowie
    And inauthentic =
    -Harry Styles
    -Robbie Williams
    -Yungblud

I don't know why but it's some unspoken thing

I wonder how many artists are LGBT but don’t like to put it in their music or address it often unless it comes up. Not in a “they’re ashamed” way, just in a “let’s focus on other stuff” kinda way.
I’m bisexual, but unless I was inspired to write a love song about a man, I wouldn’t want to talk about it too much in my music because I feel like I have other stuff to talk about. I also “dress straight” and “act straight” so I wonder if I was famous if I would even be featured in these discussions. Not that I have to be, I just wonder if I would.
I think Kevin Abstract is another artist who incorporates his LGBT identity into his art without it feeling weird or forced
