Maybe yeah but this got further than just angry twitter accounts. Ex Harry Potter actors and actual people made statements about how much they don’t agree with JK.
I said earlier, these movies and especially expensive franchise things are products and are designed to be as easily supported as possible. They need as the maximum amount of people to watch it and enjoy it and pay for it and support it. They don’t wanna take any risks with their s*** and potentially have something people won’t wanna support.
But like you said maybe the gen public isn’t going care that’s much I guess.
