HBO CEO saying 1 season per year isn’t going to be possible. I think everybody already knew that but I guess it’s better to give up on the promise ahead of time than after it’s already out.
I know production styles and timelines have changed a lot but they were able to do eight movies in 10 years, if this takes much longer that would be crazy
Hagrid’s voice
First thing I noticed
This s*** being edited and soundtracked like a prestige HBO drama is cracking me up

I think that threw me off Fr
It's weird seeing this because a lot of the iconography is the same as the films, and I watched the first one recently. The Dursley house for one is practically the same. At the same time I do see where the expansion is happening. I wouldn't have imagined what so ever that we would see Harry in normal school. Hogwarts has the same vibe but the design outside the Great Hall seems to be different.
It kind of feels like the Resident Evil remakes in a way (if that makes sense). Particularly 2, where it's feels the same but different at the same time.
Nick Frost's Hagrid sounds weird to me but that's because I've been so used to the original voice for 25 years. The kid who plays Harry works for me off of this trailer. Not much to judge off of Ron and Hermione though.
I mean, I'll watch it. I just have to learn to let go of a film series that was literally a foundational part of my childhood.

I was expecting a more whimsical tone but it’s also just a teaser
Idk. I’m not fully sold yet but could also be bc I grew up with the old cast and films
