Nothing against the child actors in this, I hope they have a fun time creating this show and I hope they have the same type of individual success as the original Harry Potter kids.
But I also want this show to fail miserably because JK Rowling is awful f***in c*** of a person.
show not dropping til 2027 and they posting promo pics
Getting ahead of leaked set pics?
Oh they’re filming already?
Looking like a hallloween fit lmao
Yeah… no.
RIP, Robbie Coltrane.
God the hair stylist completely cooked my boy. I think they're tryna replicate the hairstyle from the books but it looks terrible. Also I hate the barely visible scar
I really hope this isnt what it looks like in the show. This looks like really good cosplay. He looks too groomed, the hair parting just doenst work. and the fact that Nick Frost lost a ton of weight recently makes the shaggy beard look weird on his face.
Still have faith that he'll deliver on the performance tho
Have you seen who they've cast as Snape?
Ain't no greasy middle part, get out
Snape using relaxer is crazy
this looks like when you see a semi slim guy as a santa clause at the mall lmao
7 years of filming and it’s gonna be less than 50 episodes when it ends
6 episodes is kinda short, especially if each episode is less than 1 hour.
Unless each episode is an hour this is dumb
Most HBO shows are at least an hour, why wouldn't they

I agree , mainly was a response to divine . 6 hours to cover one book would work and is most likely

It only mentions book 1 and 2 being 6 episodes too, those books are the shortest so I think 6 hours of content should cover them easily
Obviously once they get into the longer books, more than 6 episodes would likely be needed imo
i hope they learned from dragons not to do 6 episodes then wait 3 years
Doesn't seem to be the case seeing as they're looking to film season 1 & 2 back to back.
Fine, as long as the last 5 books have longer seasons🙏🏽
Being that the first two books are short by comparison that’s fine
Now if Goblet of Fire to Deathly Hallows aren’t at least 10 episodes then there’s gonna be a problem
Yeah I always pictured Seasons 1-3 getting less episodes than Seasons 4-7, so this absolutely makes sense
Also, HBO is prob wanting to make sure the episodes are pristine so that the series lives up to the hype, and less episodes means more quality control of each.
I personally am not a fan of this growing trend by TV networks to have shorter seasons to ensure quality control, but as I mentioned above it makes sense from a business standpoint early on for those reasons.
I do think though that it doesn’t make sense in later seasons from a business standpoint once a show has gained a loyal viewership base — surely, the more episodes a show has, the longer people will stay subscribed to your streaming service? If you only have 6 episodes then people can just cancel your streaming service after a month
